I just bought this vibrator the other day and am having a lot of trouble adjusting the power. It's just too strong for me and I'd like to turn it down, but the buttons don't seem to work. Is anyone else having a similar problem? Otherwise, I love everything about it.

This toy is fantastic!
As someone with a pretty intense arsenal of sex toys, it takes a lot to impress me. I wasn't crazy about the first generation of this toy, because I felt that the two prongs were too close together, and would potentially be uncomfortable for me. I was also worried about the range of speeds, as I felt that that the low wasn't low enough and the high wasn't high enough. I also admit that I am very nitpicky, but hey, I know what I like.
Anyway, I can't tell you how excited I was to see that they reworked this toy. It's still beautiful, but the new arms are no longer pinchy! They also made the lowest speed less intense, and added a higher speed that can be accessed if you hold down the plus button for a few seconds. It reminds me of when CD's had awesome hidden tracks!
Anyway, I bit the bullet and purchased the Duet, and I have no regrets. It is absolutely the quietest vibrator I own, which means it's been in very heavy rotation. I have paper-thin walls, so the fact it's as whisper-quiet as they claim it is is incredible. It's also really strong, and gives me the intense, focused, stimulation I tend to like above all else. I'm also admittedly a sucker for aesthetics, and I adore the stainless steel handle. It's beautiful, and it adds a heftiness to the toy that is really enjoyable.
I used to have a pretty exclusive relationship with the Form 2 by Jimmyjane, and though I still love that toy, I find myself reaching for the Duet way more frequently.
Anyway, if you're on the fence about this toy, I really recommend getting it. It's quiet, beautiful, and of the highest quality.

This sleek, sexy, silicone tipped little wonder is incredible. It's completely discreet, charges in your computer, won't vibrate unless it's clicked into the tip ( so nobody will figure out what it is when it's plugged in to your computer) and is super quiet. I also love that this is great for use on the nipples! I've used this alone and on my partner and we both enjoyed it. It's the perfect thing to take with you on vacation! This little wonder never leaves my purse!

I've owned this for four months. It is a great toy, and incredibly convenient -- it charges in the same usb-plug as my phone. I never have to fumble with batteries. You know that feeling when you're *this* close, but the battery is weak and dying, and you don't have replacements on hand? This device avoids that completely.

It is also excellent for travel. I disconnect the two parts and seal them in the handy (extra discreet) case, so there is NO risk that it will start buzzing in my suitcase.

Very quiet (I have roommates, so I'm very aware of sound). When plugged in, it looks like a thumb drive.

The only cons are that the buttons require quite a bit of pressure to adjust the intensity, and it doesn't "remember" what intensity you used last time.

I received this as a gift, and it was one of the best surprises I've ever unwrapped. The presentation is beautiful. It felt special from the moment I saw the box, and the toy is such an interesting design. I don't know how else to say it, but it looks and feels like a quality item. I also really like the vibration. It's strong enough for me, and it transfers well from the tip of the toy. I'm pretty sensitive, and I like the setting that feels like 'throbbing'. It's just amazing and it makes me see stars.

The Duet is my favorite vibe for travelling now. It's such a relief to have the USB charging capability, and not having to worry about plugs or batteries. Its particular vibration is really good for me, sort of a warm buzz if that makes any sense. The size of it is really nice, too, small enough to be discreet, but big enough to fit nicely in my hand and not slip out of my fingers like a bullet would.

I haven't had the pinching problem that other reviewers have mentioned; it really does just hug my clit like the description says. I mainly use the outside of the tips, but sometimes I put a finger between the two motors if I want more space in there. Works great.

This vibe is awesome for so many reasons. It charges by USB, which saves on batteries. It is very elegant looking, so if I left it out I wouldn't worry about it raising questions. The vibration goes from light to really strong, and it has some interesting vibration patterns... but also just has a straight up vibration for those who like consistent stimulation. You can use it flat or glide the tip over any part of your (or your partner's body) for a range of sensations. The prongs provide a really nice "surrounding" feeling for any body part that they press against. Overall I would recommend this. It is unlikely to be like anything that you already have in your toy box!

BAHAHAHAHA! I am so ridiculously gleeful about this delightful little vibrator! I have finally come to realize that my favorite kind of vibration is both very strong and on the buzzy side, which is not a common combination. Enter the Duet--as soon as I pressed it against my clit, I literally said "Wow!" out loud. It is so deliciously strong.

The prongs can pinch a little, but I personally did not find this too terribly uncomfortable (though other people's results may vary). Also, since this toy is so small it is easy to keep out of the way when playing with a partner. Love it!

This thing has like 1000000 settings and the buttons to go between them are tiny and right next to each other, but its like a CD player, so you have to go through each track to get to the next one, right? Except the button to make the vibration stronger is also there.

So, lets say you're enjoying a setting after having to channel-surf for ten boring minutes, and finally enjoying yourself, and you want to turn up the vibration. SURPRISE! You just changed the setting. Now, you get to go through every single setting again and hope you remember which one you liked. And remember! There is no "Low-Med-High" part separate from the drum-and-base sections of this crap.

I have had a lot of inexpensive and simple, and luxe and complex toys in my time. Of the entire spectrum, this was absolutely the worst. The controls are in a terrible place to adjust during use, the buttons are tiny (and I have slim hands and still find them difficult to use) and the settings are confusing and not user-friendly. I have no idea who would want this thing.
