What benefits will I receive as an affiliate?

You will earn a referral fee of 20% on the sales you send to our site, plus an additional 5% referral fee on every approved affiliate you send to us. You also get access to special banners, link exchanges, and other promotional opportunities for your website. Affiliates also receive a special edition of our Babeland Briefs newsletter.

Why should I choose Babeland's affiliate program?

In addition to your Babeland commission, you are providing your web visitors with a valuable and trusted resource for sexuality products. At Babeland we test all our toys and carry only those that live up to our standards for quality and functionality. We are women-friendly, selecting toys designed to appeal to women, men, and couples. In addition, we make our vast collection of useful sex information and product reviews available to our affiliates. And lastly, we provide responsive customer service, working with our Affiliates to make sure they're getting the most from their Babeland links.

Do I qualify as a Babeland affiliate?

If you can answer "yes" to all of the following statements, you qualify.

I am 21 years of age, or older.
My website is up and running now, and the content is viewable.
My site does not display banners only in a gateway page.
My site does not offer sex for money.
My web site does not use excessive pop-up windows, uncosable windows, or other "hard sell" techniques.
My web site provides correct sex information when it's in my web content.
My site does not promote violence, bigotry, or hatred.
My site does not promote illegal activity, including but not limited to WAREZ, CRACKING, and HACKING.

How can I increase my earnings as an Affiliate?

We've found that the most successful Affiliate sites offer more than a simple banner link. You can link directly to specific products, categories or content. Affiliates may use our informative, well-written "how-to" articles with written permission, as long as they link to our site and properly credit us for the content. Simply let us know which products or content you'd like to include, and we'll be happy to provide the tools you need to become a successful Babeland Affiliate! Email our knowledgeable affiliate managers your questions at any time any they'll work to help you monetize your traffic.

Account Information

How do I access my account information?

You can update your account information by logging in to our Affiliates area. Use the following URL:

You can also update your information by sending email to the affiliate administrator.

I've forgotten my login/password. Help!

If you know your login, but have forgotten your password, you can enter your login name on the sign-in page to have the password sent to the email registered with your affiliate account. If you've forgotten your login name, you will have to send email to the affiliate administrator.

I operate more than one web site. How do I add sites to my account?

If you want the referrals from all of your websites to be credited to one account, simply set up your website links with your Affiliate Code. To have the websites processed and paid out separately, you will have to register each website. Click here to sign up another web site. You can also email the affiliate administrator and provide the names and URLs of the additional sites.

How do I deactivate an account?

If, for any reason, you wish to voluntarily terminate your affiliate program, please email the affiliate administrator with the word "deactivate" in the subject line.

How do I reactivate an account?

If you would like to reactivate an account, please contact us. Contact the affiliate administrator with the word "reactivate" in the subject line. In the body of the message, list your username, email address and primary contact.

I don't want to receive e-mail messages. What should I do?

Babeland reserves the right to contact Babeland Affiliates by email for notification purposes. To opt out of informational e-mails that do not directly pertain to your account, email the affiliate administrator.

Reports and Payment

What is the commission structure for Babeland Affiliates, and when will I get paid?

You will receive a 20% referral fee on each purchase made from your site directly through the provided links to www.babeland.com. You receive a further 5% referral fee for a sale that results in an affiliate signup. If your referral fees total less than $10 for the quarter, your payment will be carried over into the following quarter, until your affiliate commission totals $10 or more. Payments are made by check and are mailed quarterly as follows:

First Quarter commission is accrued between January 1st and March 31st; payment will be mailed by April 30th.
Second Quarter commission is accrued between April 1st and June 30th; payment will be mailed by July 31st.
Third Quarter Commission is accrued between July 1st and September 30th; payment will be mailed by October 31st.
Fourth Quarter Commission is accrued between October 1st and December 31st; payment will be mailed by January 31st of the following year.

How do I get paid?

Payments are made by check and mailed to the Affiliate by the dates listed above. Be sure to tell us who the check should be made out to when you sign up.

How do I keep track of commissions?

Once you've been approved to become an affiliate, the affiliate administrator will email you with the details on how to get your statistics. You can keep track of your commissions through the Affiliate Login Page provided in your approval email. Affiliates registered before January 15, 2004 should contact the affiliate administrator for details. Reports available include click-throughs and sales. You can use the monthly payout figures to find your quarterly commission balance.

The data in reports does not accurately reflect activity originating from my link. Why?

Data such as click-throughs and orders may not appear until the next business day. If reports are showing what appear to be discrepancies, it's possible that the code for tags has been modified. If the code for the tag has been modified, reports would not accurately reflect link activity. Please check the code for your link. It's also important to keep in mind that a high click-through number does not guarantee a high sales total.
