Babeland is looking for a Store Manager for our Brooklyn location. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of retail management experience and a passion for sex-positivity. Applicants should have experience leading staff teams of eight or more, a strong background in sales techniques and coaching, and an eye for visual merchandising. Responsibilities:

• Leading store team in the day-to-day functions of a retail store focused on achieving customer service excellence.
• Monitoring profit and loss performance and implementing corrective measures to improve profitability.
• Managing all aspects of inventory control and loss prevention.
• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes in order to maximize profits.
• Interviewing potential staff; conducting appraisals and performance reviews; providing training and development.
• Managing store's operations including customer service, inventory, marketing, merchandising, scheduling/payroll, personnel and policy, and facilities with a focus on the bottom line.
• Sustaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry; understanding forthcoming customer initiatives; examining the business and marketing strategies of local competition Supervising the sales floor during store hours; interacting with employees and customers; identifying and resolving urgent issues
Requirements:
• At least three years of experience in retail management.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent delegation skills.
• Ability to motivate a team while working as part of the team.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
