I was pretty unimpressed by the Babeland Massage candles until I came across the Mango Vanilla scent: musky but fruity and super delish, this scent gets my partner and I relaxed and far away from crazy city life.

Light the flame for a wonderful ambiance, and when enough oil has melted blow the flame out and pour the oil directly on your skin. It's a perfect temperature! I thought it might burn a little but it was perfectly warm.

I may buy these for a family member who is a physical therapist, they are so relaxing. 5 stars!

These candles are great. My husband used the Pashmina scented one to give me a back massage; the melted wax felt divine and the heat of it made the massage even more relaxing. The smell was somewhat strong but not overpowering or cloying; it scented the air of the room while the candle was lit, and I could still smell it on my skin the next morning. The wax did leave a slight residue on my skin, but it wasn't oily or sticky, and it left my skin nice and soft and sweet-smelling. I love this. It provides everything you need for a romantic evening at home or away! Soft light, a sexy scent (Pasmina is what I picked up) and it heats up to become yummy warm massage oil! It's an all in one tool! It's also a lot easier to take with you for a romantic tryst than a leaky bottle of massage oil! Love this one!

I think this is such a sexy way to spice up a massage and really get everyone in the mood. First off, all of the ones I have tried smell really great. I really like the rice flower & the mango vanilla! In addition to making your room smell great and setting the mood that way (also-mood lighting!), its really fun to give an all over massage with these. The wax becomes a nice warm oil that is easily rubbed all over the body, to really heat things up! It does get a little messy, but isn't that half the fun? It doesn't get to sticky on the skin or leave to much of a residue but will leave you a little bit slippery. I honestly can't thing any sexier massage tool.

Was my first ever massage candle, in Rice Flower. Man oh man oh man, it smelled fantastic! Like a really nice body cream. When the wax melted, it was hot enough to soothe when massaged into my skin, but not hot enough to burn, which was my initial concern. When massaged gently, it felt so good, way better than a normal massage oil since it was warm. Made out of soy ingredients, this all-natural candle really knew how to please. The only thing I didn't like was how it felt slightly tacky afterwards. But then again, all oils are like that, so I'm not really complaining! 9/10 stars! Stephanie

I absolutely love these massage candles. These are my most favorite I have used yet and they are at a great price. The candle wax feels great on the skin and leaves your skin soft and smelling wonderful. My guy massaged me before bed one night and and I could still smell it on my skin in the morning. The candles come in a pretty glass jar and I keep mine on my nightstand as decor. The Mango Vanilla scent smells wonderful. One thing I really like about Babeland's body candles is that the only printing is a sticker on the underside. Which means you can leave out these candles anywhere in the house and no one would know. Which also means that you could use them in any room for fun. The Citron Fig scent has a slightly powdery citrus scent. It is a strong scent, but did not trigger a headache (I get headaches from strong scents). Which tells me that the oils are natural, not synthetic. The wax is nice and moisturizing, especially with my dry skin. And the oil last a good amount of time to lend to a good overall massage. Also love the tiny box of Babeland matches!

The idea is that the wax from the candle melts into a blend of oil that you can use as a warm lubricant during a massage. I will admit, I was very curious to see if it was going to work as intended....after all, during a massage, I use plain old grape seed oil. As a professional, I had my concerns - Would it be waxy and gross? Would it be too hot? Would it smell funky? I can safely say, the Babeland Body Massage Candle is none of those things! When I first opened the package, I noted how nice it smelled. The Pashmina scented candle had a powdery, lightly floral but not over the top, scent. It wasn't a subtle scent, but it also wasn't overpowering. Encased in a glass jar, the candle is white and about 3oz. There are no markings on the outside of the jar, giving no indication it is anything more than a decorative scented candle. I lit the candle (With the matches Babeland provided. Nice touch!) and let the flame melt the wax for a few minutes. The scent lightly filled the room and the wax turned into a warm oil that I was able to pour comfortably into my hands. It didn't burn me and I was extremely surprised that it didn't feel at all like wax in my hands. It felt....well...like oil! After rubbing my hands together to create an even layer of oil, I used my husband as a guinea pig. I applied the oil to his shoulders and I found that with a small amount (as pictured to the left, if you can make out the puddle in my hand) I could give a 15 minute shoulder massage, no problem. I didn't have to constantly pour more into my hand to avoid a dry massage. I asked him how it felt, and he said it felt very nice. He didn't feel anything different than a regular massage - which is what I was looking for! The only downside is that your hands can feel a bit sticky afterward, but that's nothing a quick rinse under the sink wouldn't fix.

I love the new scents!! The soy wax melts so nicely and rubs into the skin to feel silky and soft without feeling waxy. They make the room smell good, add candle light ambiance, and allow for a warm oil to be massaged into my body. They set the mood in all ways.
