OK so I got this in a pinch because I was on a budget and staying in a hotel. Definitely works for me, no extra frills, compact and is inexpensive. The weak part of it is the wire attachment of the control pack. Ultimately, the wired connection shorts out and there is no access to re-sodder it. There is minimal to no warning before it crashes-- it will sputter if you move the wire around and then it dies. Have had 2 now and they both died the same way despite non-aggresive use (ie no tugging on the wire). Still is worth the dough though.
