Hi Friends-

We’ve come a long way in the 22 years of Babeland’s herstory,  and we thank you for being part of this incredible journey.

Where women once knew little about how to have an orgasm, now the expectation is which kind and how many. Vibrators aren’t the threat to men they used to be, in fact 40% of our vibrator buyers are men. And just look at the distance queers have come—thanks to marriage equality sex toys as wedding gifts have never been more fashionable.  But feminism has a ways to go and so does queer liberation, gender expression and body positivity.  Babeland is in it with you for the whole project: orgasms and liberation, now and into the future.

While we’re still geared up for revolution, personal and societal, it’s also good to pause and congratulate ourselves for how far we’ve come. This year seems especially sex-positive--Caitlyn Jenner got folks talking about gender transitions, college students raised awareness about rape culture, Amy Shumer made us laugh about reproductive rights, buttplugs, “last f**kable days” for women in Hollywood, and that Fifty Shades of Grey movie got people even more people trying SM.

And without any media hoopla ordinary people are coming out, loving their bodies, and asking for what they want in bed.

So thanks and congratulations to all of you for being part of something that is both intensely personal, and bigger than just yourselves. By nurturing your sexual aliveness you’re making the world a better place.

Enjoy the last days of Summer!

Claire and Rachel
