We have a robust workshop program at Babeland and love adult sex ed. Another way to explore is through the magic of the internet. There are some really cool programs out there.

The most developed one I've seen is an 8 week e-course crammed with webcasts, videos to watch, homework, email threads with participants, homework- a very full offering for individuals to explore in a variety of ways. Going forward I think we’ll see more of this kindof guided, multi media and interactive online sex ed. The topic is submission in the context of BDSM. SubmissivePlayground

Not everyone is ready for an 8-week program or for BDSM. For a less intensive and more diverse topic list, check out Passionate University

Passionate University is a membership based site stocked with hundreds of videos, each less than 10 minutes, on topics ranging from anatomy & communication to sex tips and how-tos. Twenty Five bucks gets you a one month unlimited access to all their offerings or there are other plans as well.

The feeling of the site is mainstream, the home page has model shots of happy  straight couples with some diversity in race and age. The actual videos are real people sharing what they know.

They divide content into 6 categories: sensual, relationships, kinky, health or academic. Not all the videos contain nudity- some are talky sex researchers, others are explicit sex educators demonstrating with real people. You can really mix and match to find videos that suit you.

Scarleteen has a great website crammed with info- it’s oriented towards younger folks, but there is plenty of useful info there for everybody, especially about bodies, identity and relationships.

Laci Green has super fun videos on Youtube- not sexually explicit but quick and fun takes on sex positive feminist topics. Babeland has our own channel on youtube too- Babelandvideo.

For those who like podcasts, treat yourself to The Heart, The Heart is like The Moth but all about sex- personal stories, depth and authenticity. I also really like Sex Nerd Sandra- her podcast is a chatty hosted hour of sex topics and guests- it's fun and current. And sex postive superstar Tristan Taormino offers Sex Out Loud on Voice of America. Any of these podcasts will inspire and inform.
