For those who want a flat chest silhouette, look no further than the Double Panel Compression Shirt. Two layers of Spandex/nylon material across the chest and mid-section conform to the body and allow a full range of motion; the shirt is full-length and is easily tucked into pants. In order to determine your ideal size:

  • Take a snug measurement under the breast tissue line with a tape measure, aiming for your ribcage.
  • Take another measurement over the fullest part of your chest. You might want to wear a sports bra when you do this.
  • Take the average of these two measurements, and apply the result to the sizing recommendations provided in the "specs" tab, above.
  • Between sizes? If you're unsure, opt for the larger size to ensure breathing comfort.
  • Note: this shirt is meant to fit very snugly to achieve a flattening effect, and may be difficult to put on/take off at first; this should become slightly easier with use. If you choose to size up for comfort, know that the flattening effect may be decreased. Please contact Customer Service for additional guidance in ordering.
Please note: this product is guaranteed for 30 days for any defects, but is not eligible for satisfaction-based return.

Comments about Babeland Double Panel Compression Shirt:

I don't have a big chest (maybe a small 'C' at most) but this binder just made me look like I was wearing a tight sports bra. It even made it look like I had cleavage if I wasn't careful to constantly pull it up. At the same time, it is way too long. The neck is too big and it bunches, adding to the 'sports bra' look. It bit into my sides and my t-shirt got caught in the creases, which was very embarrassing.
I didn't find the binder that hard to put on, especially since I used some baby powder, and aside from the creases on the sides it wasn't that uncomfortable. I just wish that it actually did what it said it would do and flattened my chest so that I could be comfortable in a t-shirt on the days when I'm not so comfortable with my body.

Comments about Babeland Double Panel Compression Shirt:

After reading the glowing reviews of this binder I was excited to get one for myself. I had an excellent experience at the Babeland store and all was going well, that is until I wore this binder for a day.

I had tried on the binder in the store and it fit well. Unfortunately the change room/ bathroom didn't have a mirror in it, and it was only when I wore the binder under a shirt at home that I saw how little it did. I have often passed as male when wearing a hoodie or button down shirt, so I thought a binder would help me pass in a t-shirt.
I do not have a large chest by any means (I haven't worn a cupped bra in years but can't be more than a B or C), but the binder just made my chest look like I was wearing a tight sports bra. While it was tight over my chest, it was loose at the very top, which contributed to the 'sports bra' look. I tried adjusting my chest under the binder, but nothing prevented it from eventually riding down and making it almost look like I had cleavage (terrible!).
Once I finally worked up the courage to leave the house, I decided to go shoe shopping. When I asked the person working at the store for a shoe in my size, he asked if the size was in men's or women's (humiliating!).
After several more instances of being called 'ma'am' I decided to just go home. During my day I also discovered another terrible feature of this binder; the creasing in the back. If I leaned forward while sitting down the binder creased on both sides of my mid back and caught my shirt in the creases when I sat up again. These creases also dug into my back and were very uncomfortable throughout the day.

I know that a binder is not supposed to work miracles, or be the most comfortable garment, but given the rave reviews I expected something that at least worked. I was just hoping to be able to wear a t-shirt on those days when I feel particularly like my body doesn't match my brain. Now I don't know what I'll do.

Comments about Babeland Double Panel Compression Shirt:

I got the compression shirt in a medium. I tried it on in the store and it is true to size. i usually wear a medium and sometimes a small. It was really hard to get on at first but then I realized it is best to scrunch it up over your arms and put your hands thru the arm holes and then slide it over your head and pull the bottom part down. The last step is a bit difficult ( and chafes a little in the armpits), but after some practice it was really easy. I love the fit. It gives my chest a great flat look, but allows me to move and breathe well. I even ride my bike with it. :)

Comments about Babeland Double Panel Compression Shirt:

I love playing with gender expression, but it's always been hard to wear masculine clothes with 40G breasts. All of the buttons on my plaid shirts look strained. With this compression shirt it really flattens out my chest and makes my button-up shirts loose! With the mesh back it allows air to get to your skin, even in warm weather. The compression is comfortable and helps your posture.

While all the other binding techniques that I__ve tried (double sports bra/ace bandage) have left me feeling not only unsatisfied with the result, but in pain from deep impressions on my body and long-term pressure, this shirt has quickly become a comfortable, effective staple in my daily wardrobe. And it has made a noticeable difference in my feelings about my body.

              Comfortable? No and Yes

              By Anon

Comments about Babeland Double Panel Compression Shirt:

Which is more uncomfortable to you personally? Going out in the world with obvious breasts? Or, wearing something which is tight enough to truly hide them? Is it a fun" choice to make, likely not, unlike most of Babeland's offerings. Is it essential for those of us who aren't gendered in a way which is down with rocking breasts on our chests? Substantially more likely. If you've ever resorted to duct taping, ace bandage binding, or multiple sports bra wearing then these will be more comfortable than that. If you were pronounced male at birth and are uncomfortable with folks noticing bumps under your shirt, then these are more comfortable than that. The comfort of this product comes with the aesthetic confidence you go out into the world with. If it feels too tight initially, then you probably have the right size. This is a compression shirt and as such it compresses. Not only heart pumping activities like jogging, but even everyday activities like climbing the front steps to get into your apartment will initially take some getting used to. Both you and the compression shirt will adjust after several wearings. For me, I've gotten so used to them that I actually do everything including jogging in them. Babeland, not only are you blowing my mind with your new Gender Expression category and those amazing Pete packer underwear, but you've made it possible for me to shop for almost everything I need through you...next up please offer us a good/realistic/packable STP!!!"

              life saver

              By Ster

Comments about Babeland Double Panel Compression Shirt:

Before chest surgery I had to find a binder that would hide my E sized chest. Yes, I said E... and I am not a big guy by any means. But, my genetics and the fact that I had fibrocystic breast disease made it nearly impossible to feel comfortable in my body... I tried COUNTLESS body compression shirts and binders from tons of different companies. The absolute ONLY one that I found to work for me was this one. It's true, it does take some getting used to.. (took me about a week to really figure out how to squirm my way into it properly, trick is.. put it on like a pair of pants and slide it up until you really get the hang of it) but once I perfected the thing, it perfected me. I was flat enough to pass as male and I was actually comfortable since it really distributed the compression unlike an ace bandage, which can and will cause serious back issues. I absolutely LOVE that Babeland has started carrying these emotional life savers, I mean, now one only has to go to ONE PLACE to get everything they are looking for. Thank you so much Babeland!!

Comments about Babeland Double Panel Compression Shirt:

It's a little tricky to get into the first time, but you'll get used to it. Trans man? Butch? Playing around? Just want to look trim? This is it. It's comfortable when you're wearing it, and it'll flatten down your chest and stomach. It's long enough to tuck into your pants to prevent it from rolling up, and it'll even trim down your hips a bit if your butt is too girly. And it's done wonders for my posture. Pretty easy to take care of, too. It's recommended that you hand wash them, but I throw mine in the washer and they seem to hold up pretty well.
