Okay, I guess I DO like vibrators, then.

I'm pretty sex-positive folk, but I've always had sub-par experiences with toys. Like the anon below, I've had a Rabbit (hated it) and I've also had a Wahl (REALLY hated it--nothing like burnt thighs before you're anywhere remotely close) and after two misses, I basically gave up on vibrators and sex toys in general. Heck, I figured, I'm probably just a simple guy who just likes hands-on work, and that's okay. A few years pass that way, then I wind up buying a ridiculously awesome (non-vibrating) toy--the Pure Wand--and bolstered by success, decide to give vibes another go. Considering my previous negative experiences, I was originally going to get something cheap. As in, maybe I'll shell out $30, but that's it" cheap. But when I went to the Seattle store, I wound up getting this based on the word of the staff. I went home kicking myself. Come on, $109? When I am a potential vibrator hater? But, obviously, I was committed to it. The first night was nothing stellar, and I still kicked myself. But the next... Okay, yeah, holy crap yes. I seriously managed to give myself rug burn, I was having such a party. I tend to like firm clitoral pressure when I jerk off, but too much intense vibration makes me numb, so the strobing feature (especially the last "rumble" setting) is ideal. But what really set me off was that--although it's smaller and it can, as one reviewer said, twist around--it gets right against my g-spot when I leave it in and jerk off my usual boring old way. Absolutely wonderful. Obviously everyone will enjoy something different, but I personally am thankful to the Seattle staff, for talking me out of wasting $30 on something that wouldn't be this little baby--and that might have scared me off of vibes for another few years. Oh, and as one anon says: it does have a continuous high whine that I can hear if the room is quiet (it was inaudible at the Babeland store). It's a fairly high register, so if you have been to a bunch of rock shows, or live under power lines, it's probably nothing you'll notice. And while it bothers me initially, considering I'm so busy figuring out how I got on the floor to begin with after a few minutes, it's not really an issue."

I've never been able to masturbate, so my boyfriend and I started spending a lot of time on the babeland site to try to find something that could help me, especially since we would soon be in an LDR. I used a bullet vibe once, but it didn't do anything for me, so I figured I needed something with penetration as a possibility. It's definitely not good for partner play - I got very impatient with it changing all the time, and he didn't have enough control over what was going on. I figured it might work better if I tried it alone. It does, but only externally. I suppose it really depends on your body, but I had a few internal issues: 1. Getting it in is difficult (and sometimes painful) with the large head, even if I'm wet and use lube. 2. The vibrations aren't strong enough once it's inside. 3. It can't reach my g-spot! To be fair, my g-spot is so high up, that I can often stimulate it by pushing below my belly button. Here are some things I do like about it though: 1. So pretty. Just looking at it turns me on. I feel like Apple could have made it, it's so well designed. 2. It does work externally. I never knew I was capable of orgasming with just clitoral stimulation, and apparently I can! Although, I tend to loose control once I get going, which is a bit frustrating. It takes quite a bit of time to get off with this one, for me at least. I think I need a bit more practice with it though. Basically, this toy would be great if it fit my body and had a bit more power. But I still get use out of it, so, it's probably worth risking it - it'll work either way.

Considering how popular the Gigi is, I was pumped to finally give this toy a go. I am impressed by the way the flat head provides a focused vibration on my clit, and it does easily transition internally to hit the g-spot... though I actually prefer this as an external vibe (and personally, I could do with some more power). The medium speed is nice and thumpy which is good for getting warmed up. I do find it really awkward to hold, and because of where the buttons are located I accidentally push them at the wrong moments, which truly annoys me.

No where near enough power. I bought a B3 Onye Fleur 3-Speed Waterproof Vibe for 35 bucks and its got wayyyyy more vibrating power. The shape is nice, but if you want more then a lightweight dildo save your money!

I've been wanting this toy forever and was so happy to get it! The broad flat head of this toy is really great for G-spotting and I found the slimmer shape to be really comfortable when used internally. I like the different pulsation patterns and the variability in the intensities, but I wish that the vibrations got a little bit stronger. The handle is long enough to be just comfortable enough for me but I can definitely see how it might be a little too short for some people. The shape is also really great to be used externally, and I like stroking the shaft of the toy against my clit (rather than using the flat head directly). I also love that this toy has a travel-lock option so that it won't turn on in my suitcase while I'm traveling! The buttons are really easy to press which is both great and ... not: it's really easy to go from one mode to another, but sometimes I accidentally change to the next pattern when I've really gotten into one that I'm diggin'.

I was really excited about the Gigi. I had saved up money and bought it during the President's Day raffle weekend. I had been researching for a while. It wasn't as powerful as I had hoped- my cheapie Iconic Smoothie is stronger. I'm super stingy with my money and was really looking forward to my first nice toy, but I end up switching between it and my slimline. Also, I tend to get rather lubricated when I play and the handle tends to be too short to get a good enough grip when wet.

Wow! Great vibe. The strongest setting is very strong (and I'm a lady who can take a lot of power), great range on the settings. I love the quality of the vibration: deep, rumbly, lead to long orgasms. Great size for travel or partnered sex, and holds a charge well. Two beefs: 1.) The control panel can be easy to hit in the heat of the moment. 2.) My G-spot is fairly high, and this doesn't quite reach it. It still feels very good thrusting, but I end up using it mostly clitorally. Be aware that this does have a shorter length. All in all, definitely worth the money, and I'm so glad I have this!

but it's got everything else going for it. I had been eyeing this toy for a while, wanting a g-spot vibe, but not sure about making the investment. Then I entered a LDR and Babeland decided to have an awesome sale. I was out of excuses. Wow, do I wish I'd purchased this beautiful toy sooner. It really is pretty, fairly petite and streamlined. The rechargable feature saves on batteries, of course, but it also allows for a lighter, less clunky design. The silicone is smooth and soft to the touch. The controls are very intuitive and easy to learn. The variety of speeds and patterns are great and best of all, unless you really get her going (and she will GO), Gigi is very quiet. Inside or out, Gigi offers a setting to please everyone So far, I've only used her solo, but my boyfriend is eager to stimulate my g-spot with Gigi while his tongue works its magic on my clit. I can't wait to explore the possibilities my boyfriend and I can imagine for my new favorite toy/Objets d'Art.

The Gigi is my first vibrator, and to be honest I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. I previously thought that I was a mostly G-spot girl, so I went for the Gigi because it's supposed to be perfect for that and because it's so cute (after spending time looking around the store I learned that the esthetics of the toy are very important to me haha). I've only used it twice, and both times I've used it mostly externally and it's AMAZING. I'm talking multiples. The flat top is perfect for external stimulation (as well as internal) and the little hook is so much fun to play with. The intensity is perfect for me--I kept it on the highest level most of the time, but had to turn it down a few times too. Super into the Gigi. A great purchase.
