I bought this as my first vibrator, and trust me as a 19 year old college student this definitely has everything I need. First thing was the price, I definitely took a chance on it without knowing if I'd even like a vibrator or not because it was so inexpensive. Next was the look and the power, it's incredibly smooth and pretty big, and the power of vibrations is easily adjusted. And the last thing a college girl worries about is noise, but it was easily drowned out with one plug-in fan and a blanket over top. I think this is great for the price. It seems like good quality material and build; doesn't seem cheap. It's very smooth (think ceramic, although it's not) and hard. The vibrations are easy to adjust. This is my first vibrator and I found the vibrations to be plenty strong; the lowest setting worked for me. If there are any other penetration virgins out there (I'm young and a gay woman; nothing more than fingers at this point), I found this to be too wide for a 100% comfortable, all the way insertion at first.

In terms of noise, which I was concerned about due to having roommates, I tested it out when no one was home. You definitely can't hear it from outside with the door closed, even if you're standing right outside the door. On the highest setting, if it's against something firm like the mattress, you can hear a very low hum if you're just outside the door (but not really if you're on the other side of an actual wall). However, having it under blankets or on something that gives means this is not a problem.

I had a botched labiaplasty, when I was barely 18 and still a virgin, where the surgeon removed all of my labia minora and severely disfigured and scarred my clitoral hood and frenulum, which has made clitoral stimulation difficult, to say the least. As a result, I am 100% dependent on vibrators, so I have tried many: about 10 different slimlines, both rabbit habits (liked the pre-elastomer model, but the new model hurt me so I got mad and smashed it), pocket rocket (worthless), rub my ducky (surprisingly effective - ha), Lelo Yva (worthless), Lelo Ina (takes forever, buildup sucks, then pain with orgasm), Lelo Gigi (weak, not effective for "G-spot" stimulation, only use if I'm out of batteries). At the end of the day, I have the best luck with slimlines, and this is probably my favorite, second only to random one I bought on bourbon street (ha, but it broke). The downside of the iconic is the quality. It will break, and before it breaks the surface will get rough as the paint sort of chips off (it's really weird and hard to describe). I also don't use it internally so I figure (and hope) it's not really a health hazard. However, I do find this surface abrasion somewhat concerning and would stop using it if I could find a better-quality vibrator that worked this well. I don't use lube or anything, and I only clean it with hand soap and water, so this really shouldn't happen. Still, at this price, you can buy 4-8 for the same price as the Lelos I previously mentioned, which all pale in comparison - seriously, I've have more luck with a toothbrush, even just one of those $5 ones (it was an emergency, ha). However, while my somewhat mutilated anatomy could be to blame for my preferences, I really, really strongly recommend sticking with the cheap vibrators. I've spent over 500 bucks on vibrators, and I feel like an idiot because, at the end of the day, the cheap ones always work best. Just don't expect this one to last.

I was set on buying a pricier model from the Jimmyjane line until I read the reviews for this one. I'm so glad I did. This is a wonderful vibrator, very high-quality for a $20 toy. It is kind of loud, but apparently that's to be expected when buying any toy with a hard plastic casing, so basically any other price-comparable vibe(superbullet, slimline, etc.) will have the same issue. If you can deal with the noise though, WOW. I highly recommend this for anyone shopping for their very first vibrator. And I live in Seattle, so I'm someone who has tried out a lot of products in the actual store. You will not find a better value than this toy.

Oh my god...where do I even start... Well I just got this vibe last night and I'm already writing a review, so that must be a good sign. I bought it in store and two things won me over: the sexy design, and the low price. I've had bad luck with cheap vibes in the past but do not be fooled by the low price on this one! This vibe literally made me weak in the knees...multiple times. I've used it in bed and in the shower and it doesn't disappoint in either location. It is absolutely AMAZING on the clit and doesn't disappoint with penetration either. The speeds are great, and it's easy to go back and forth between slow and fast. Here's what I need in a vibrator: 1.) Fast, adustable, strong vibrations, or as strong as you can get with batteries (the Hitachi-type plug-ins are too much for me), not too high-pitched/stingy or too rumbly/thuddy. 2.) A hard, smooth surface that's easy to clean. 3.) A narrow-ish tip for clit stimulation, but not too narrow or pointy, and an insertable body with some girth, about an inch ideally. 4.) Cheap, with the understanding that I only expect it to last 10-12 months of frequent use. If you share those criteria, this is the perfect vibrator for you. It doesn't wiggle, it doesn't search out your g-spot, it doesn't have eight different pulsation patterns. It vibrates, you can make it vibrate harder and harder as you go, and you can move back and forth between clit, vulva, and vagina as needed. And it's only twenty dollars, and in my experience the motor will last a year with every-other-day use. Even factoring in the cost of batteries(it eats them, but not as fast as a luxury battery vibrator), that's still a cost I'm completely okay with. After being burned by a lot of different (and EXPENSIVE) luxury toys that just didn't work for me, I'm giving up experimentation and sticking with what works.

I bought my first vibrator ten years ago from babeland when it was Toys in Babeland". It was a zebra-striped slimline, my roomie got the leopard-print one, and our friend got the tiger-striped one.
