I bought it for it's aesthetic appeal and it's certainly beautiful and well made. However, like the previous poster, I found it much too wide and the bumps more pronounced than I anticipated. I wanted texture, but maybe I just don't have enough buying experience to know what to look for. Putting this in my vagina and taking it out (using plenty of lube) was painful with an alarming popping" sensation. So I also give this toy 2 stars for being pretty and none for sexual satisfaction."

I had been curious about glass toys for quite a while. Once I saw the Octopussy I feel in LOVE. Happily, the guy I was dating gave it to me as a birthday gift. The packaging was awesome, the design aesthetically pleasing. (Pink with a curled handle- how can a girl resist?) Unfortunately, for play it's difficult for me to use. The length wouldn't be too terribly, but it's uncomfortably wide. I'm not a fan of feeling stretched out, so I get practically no use from it. I'm a novice with anal as well, so no to that as well. The only sexual use I've gotten from it is from my partner, who uses it anally. But even that is a special occasion as they have to be in the mood to take something so wide. I swear, my partner used it just to prove they could master it! So 2 stars for aesthetic usage. No stars for sexual satisfaction.

From the moment I saw the Octopussy on Babeland's site, I wanted it. I am a big fan of glass toys and I just loved the unusual shape. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. The Ocotpussy is just an awesome toy no matter how you use it. I love it for anal and vaginal play. The texture is unique and very so if you don't like texture or are not sure about it, you may want to go with another glass toy. The Octopussy is for texture lovers. However, if you love texture like I do and enjoy weird looking toys, you will be very happy with the Octopussy. This is a pretty dildo with a unique shape. The rigid glass ensures you can feel every ridge and bump so make sure you love texture before diving in with the Octopussy. The shaft is shorter than some may need for G-spot stimulation but it does have a gentle curve. The looped handle helps you control the dildo, which is a little wider toward the center of the toy. The manufacturer would be well advised to include some storage pouches with their glass toys, however. I won't be reaching for this one frequently as I have a lot of awesome glass but it's a neat piece to add to your collection.

i broke up with my girlfriend, and she took all the toys with her when she left. so, i went on a shopping spree, and chose this little gem to replace the glass dildo i lost in the split. i was taken by the color and shape and had to order it. it is a paler pink than i expected, more of an icy pink than the bright peachy pink pictured. i also feel like the online pictures don't convey the true shape, which is not cylindrical as i had imagined. looking from the top, there is a deep ridge running down the center - like a cartoony tongue, wider than it is thick -and the top of both sides has a row of very nice little bumps. it's bigger than i thought it would be, but it's perfect. the weight is dreamy. the texture is varied and exciting. it's nice just about anywhere you feel like rubbing or sticking it. i highly recommend this toy. oh, and the tentacle thing is not creepy. i was a little worried it be too real, but it's not. clean up is a dream - soapy water, or boil it, or toss it in the dishwasher. awesome.

This is the first toy I've purchased, and I was not at all disappointed. It's weighty, delightfully textured, easy to clean and incredibly cute. It has totally turned me on to other glass pieces.

When I seen the Octopussy Dildo, sitting on the product screen, it literally peaked my interest and I had to add it to my wish list. It's a beautiful, heavy duty, textured defined piece of Pyrex glass. This however was a toy that I wanted to see in person, because it was different, more different than anything I have seen in a sex toy, since it was perfectly created to mimic the shape of an octopus's tentacle. Totally love it! But that doesn't mean I'm into cephalopodiality. Yeah, I just made that up. The Octopussy Dildo has 2 rows of smoothly textured numbs that run along the shaft for extra sensation for penetration. These nubs are not pointy nor jagged and are curved just right, so that you're not cringing in pain. Whether you want to rub the nubs across your mound for clitoral stimulation, or use the curved end for g-spot stimulation, the octopussy has you covered in all areas. It has a handled loop for easy gripping, since glass can obviously be pretty slippery when lubed up. You can also store it in the freezer to get it nice and cold for those who like or want to experience something different, especially if you've never had a glass toy before. You can also stick it in a bowl of warm water to make it nice and warm and then when you're finished, you just boil it and wa-la -- it's clean! It's beautiful to the eye, and what it does to the body is more amazing. If you haven't tried a glass toy yet, this should definitely be your first!

I just got this toy, and after the first use it is a quick instant favorite. It is, incidentally, my first glass toy. And, it has inspired me to start window shopping for my next glass toy. The weight. The design. Knowing that it could be used in any capacity and be boiled clean.... So many things make it the perfect toy.

My boyfriend knows how much I love any sort of cephalopod, and pink, and sex. So I was delighted to get one of these under the tree over the holidays! The weight is really nice, the nubs are just textured enough without being too sharp or irritating, and the curled end makes it really easy to use. I haven't used a lot of glass toys but this tentacle makes me eager to start exploring more!

It was love at first sight. I was happy to get my hands on it in the store, but getting it home was the goal. The bumps/ridges are placed perfectly, the curvature is designed to slither around your curves. With a good dose of lube this baby almost comes alive - just the right weight and texture to send those lovely nerve endings into outer space. The end nub is for precision pinpoint accuracy, right on. It's a delicious item that is going to get a lot of use!
