Description

A pulsing, music-responsive vibrator that feeds right into your iPod (or other music players) provides orgasm after orgasm-in stereo and on repeat. The hard, slim plastic transmits vibrations amazingly, so the throb of a slow song turns into foreplay and the thrum of a fast song will send you over the edge. A 44-inch cord plugs your toy into the iPod, iPod Shuffle, Nano and mini, or standard MP3 and CD players-or use it alone like a regular vibrator.

  • Size: 7" x 1"
  • Material: White plastic
  • Volume: 5 out of 5
  • Intensity: 5 out of 5
  • Batteries: Two AA batteries

Despite a few drawbacks in plastic quality, this toy is so much fun. My standby vibe has always been the Orchid G (http://store.babeland.com/vibrators-g-spot/orchid-g). This gives me the same sort of orgasm but it usually helps prolong things a bit with the variation in speed and frequency that comes from the music. Also, it doesn't mention this on the packaging but you can plug it into anything that has a headphone jack. I ran out of battery in my iPod so I just plugged it into my laptop. I'm going to have a lot of fun creating a custom playlist to go with this. (Anything in the name of research!)

Definitely expected more...

Great idea, but as it's been said before, the execution was very poor. In the pictures it looks like its make out of a nice metal or something more high quality, but when my boyfriend and i finally bought it and tried it out, it was plastic, just plastic, which as it has been said before was the crap kind of plastic. The vibrations are okay, maybe better for vaginal than for clitoris , which is what i was hoping to use it for. However, when you do hook it up to your iPod, you have to turn up the music really loud to get intense vibrations, which is not pleasant at all and ended up blowing out my headphones. So when i do use it now, i use it just as a basic vibrator and that's when my basic pocket rocket is unavailable. At how expensive it is, save your money for something else.

Oh, well, uh.

I bought my Ohmibod shortly after it was released because I really liked the idea of using it. I liked the design of it and I liked the function. But then I got it in the mail. The quality of the vibe is really lacking in pretty much every area, but the Ohmibod was my first vibrator so I really tried not to care. But when I say it lacks in quality, it really does. Although the vibe looks pretty good in the promotional photos, the plastic used reminds me of the type of cheap hard plastic that dollar store toys are made out of. I didn't use it that often, and when I did, I usually used it with the cap that didn't attach to my iPod. Using the iPod and the vibrator always ended with me in frustration over the mess of wires over my body, and usually during the course of the moving and the grinding, one of the plugs would come loose or whatnot, so it was always very awkward to use. Today my Ohmibod broke down completely. So now I'm in search of a quality replacement.

Pricier in the store than online ($69 versus $55!), but this is a fun little product. I just got this home and gave it a test drive. So far? The vibrations and pulses were very pleasurable for me, but I don't think they would have gotten me to orgasm alone. The wand seems designed for vaginal insertion, and the vibrations do stimulate the entire region very nicely, so if that will do for you (or you don't mind a longer wand for your clitoris!), go for it. Adding direct clitoral stimulation as well definitely sent me skyrocketing. The only other criticism I could make is that, at higher volumes/intensities, the pulsing/vibration could be heard over the music; a little distracting, but definitely something you can overcome.
