Awesome read!! I first read this book about 5 years ago. It deeply validated some old feelings I've had in regards to the sense that sexual autonomy, and free love-esque sexuality makes. The book goes into tons of interpersonal dynamics that arise in different types of relationships, and explains how to navigate through them in a way that meets everyone's needs, with respect and responsibility. Truly, one of the most important books I've ever read!!! It has the potential to really influence internalized social mores about sexuality. If nothing else, it will greatly help the individual become aware of their true desires and needs, and take better responsibility for them.

Mono, Poly, everyone should read this.

I gave this book to my roommate as she's trying to navigate dating after ending a long-term relationship, telling her that it had saved my life, and it's true. Learning to navigate an open relationship with a woman that I am madly in love with, this book was a goddess-send. It's an easy read with practical, real world, concrete advice. I can't give it enough praise.

When my grrrlfriend came to me saying she was attracted to her friend and wanted to figure out what was going on, at first I freaked out. Seeing as I’ve only been in monogamous relationships all of my life, a close friend of mine, who lives her life by this book recommended it to me. This book is amazing; it covers everything such as values and ethics, boundaries, jealousy, conflicts, agreements, health, finding partners, and has great life experiences also. It opened my eyes to a lot of new great things I haven’t had in my life. Everyone should read this book. Even if you are in a monogamous relationship it has great tips to help out with petty everyday relationship problems.

I'm in a long-term monogamous heterosexual relationship!

I'm proof that this book is for everyone. I've pretty much only been with one man, and this book is still one of my favorites! Do yourself a favor and read this book! Maybe if religious fatheads read it, they would stop playa-hatin'.
