Sorry, but to me, the Hitachi really is a back massager - not a sex toy. I (luckily) don't usually have trouble coming, and my clit doesn't need to be thumped that violently. Ow! It IS nice for sore back muscles, though. ;-)

I kept my expectations low for the Hitachi, not wanting to be disappointed - medication for a chronic condition gives me sensitivity/response issues, and lower-powered vibration (let alone any less intense stimulation) had never done the trick. Now - I never thought I'd be able to write these words - I can have multiple orgasms. (Quickly and reliably, too.) WOW. I can see how it would be too much for women with high sensitivity, but for those who have trouble climaxing, it's a godsend. I haven't found the noise as much as I expected - if you can manage to close the door and play music at a decent volume, it should pretty much cover the sound. Of course, if you tend to make noise when you're happy, the magic wand just might have you drowning out everything else.

I have "worn out" many bullets, vibrators, etc. If you can get past the plug in of the Hitachi, it is, BY FAR, the best vibrator I have EVER used. Cons: it is big, and the vibration is a little noisier than a tiny pocket rocket, or any other battery operated vibe, but seriously, seriously, this is the best toy in my bedroom. I've spent hundreds of dollars on toys and had never given a plug-in a chance because I thought it would be inconvenient. It doesn't matter because the Hitachi is mind blowing. I use it several times a day, and I love it. I cannot say enough positive things about it. Prepare to have your life and playtime changed forever.
