I am a CA native with a background in feminist studies, sex education, and HIV prevention. I am thrilled to be at Babeland as Brooklyn's Lead Sex Educator, where I can continue to passionately advocate for sex positivity, queer empowerment, and body liberation. When I'm not working and connecting all the folks with all the lube, I can be found geeking it out with my geeky partner, snuggling with my cat Idgie Threadgoode, or getting intentionally lost in NY.

Before I worked at Babeland, I was always a sex toy ambassador for all my friends. I'd bring them into the store, show them around, and help them pick out their first toys. I'm proud to officially be a Babeland sex educator! When I'm not gushing enthusiastically about sex toys, I can be found doing really geeky things: playing video games, reading comics, going to conventions, and being a nerd-burlesque superhero.

I am so thrilled to be working as a sex educator for Babeland! For me, teaching sex education is the ultimate form of praixs of all of the theories that I hold dear! When I am not spreading the joy of sex positivity through education ,you can find me reading a good book, doing a fierce Cher impression, attending a sex/gender/queer/anthropologic academic conference, traveling or eating cheese. I really LOVE cheese!

I'm a queer Aquarian and former psychology/film major, and I have been at Babeland (my dream job!) since 2012. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing bunch of sex-positive people, and I'm thrilled to help others bring more pleasure and happiness into their lives! My passions in life are cheese, chocolate, animals, and making the people I love laugh. When I'm not at Babeland, I'm reading about and practicing astrology, Wicca, and Buddhism, jamming out on my keyboard, watching old episodes of The X-Files, and hanging out with my loves.

I'm a Southerner happily living in New York City studying Gender Studies and Queer Theory. My life revolves around body and sex positivity and I am so happy to be working at place that promotes both! I have been shopping at Babeland since I moved to New York and couldn't be happier that my dream job came true. I write a zine called The Woman Question and eat more cheese then you knew was humanly possible. I only wear black.

I purchased my very first vibrator from Babeland LES back in the day, and ever since I've been in love. I am so happy to be part of an amazingly knowledgeable, sex positive team. The only things I love as much as sex toys are dogs, coffee, dive bars, the Simpsons, and King of the Hill ("I sell sex toys and sex toy accessories"). I have two Simpsons tattoos. One is of Frank Grimes and the other is a stonecutters symbol. When I'm not at Babeland I'm volunteering for RightRides or upping the punx.

I'm a fiercely sex-positive radical queer feminist, and I love having a job where I get to encourage and empower people to seek out pleasure. I am also a sex educator at a non-profit where I work primarily with middle school age youth. When I'm not busy talking about sex (rarer and rarer moments these days), I am likely painting, reading my horoscope (or asking about yours), searching out the nearest coffee joint, or movin' on a dance floor.

I'm a sex educator at Babeland AND also for middle school kids, a very entertaining combination. My favorite parts are the touching and sassy moments of dispelling shaming and limiting sex negative myths. I also love neuroscience, disco, marzipan, cute animals, playing dress up, and cute animals playing dress up.

I absolutely love my job and couldn’t imagine a more fun and exciting place to work; it is totally as awesome as you think it is, really! About Me: I'm a whimsical but sometimes wise self-proclaimed dork. I love good conversation, good movies, good food and sunny days. I love road trips with the top down, snuggling with my Chihuahuas and singing at karaoke. I’m obsessed with glamour girls of the past, Hello Kitty, Tim Burton, Joan Jett and horror movies! My only real dislike is closed-minded people.

I'm a Pisces, and I enjoy long walks on the beach. I started working in sex education as an undergraduate at NYU, and I have wanted to work at Babeland since I was a baby-faced sophomore because Babeland has really been a wonderful resource to me and my friends all these years! I've been wanting to work for Babeland since the first time I stepped into the Rivington store; two years later, I'm officially a sex educator. I'm a feminist girly-girl and a hopeless romantic. I love animals and rescued enough for my parents to ask if I was running a shelter. I am also passionate about reproductive rights and intern at NARAL a few days a week. Somehow or another I fill my days with sex-related work. I'd like to think I have a sexy personality masked by the sensitivity of society.

Status has been with the company since 2006. He loves working at Babeland because of the staff, the customers, and the constant access to Hitachi Magic Wands, Vixskin dildos, and NJoy butt plugs. When I'm not at Babeland, where I've been working since 2007, I'm busy eating tasty granola with yogurt, listening to Adam Lambert's album, playing with my pet turtle, and helping my friends/acquaintances move with my pickup truck.
