A 19th century invention by physicians who
assumed smegma needed to have a glandular source and was only produced
by males. These "glands" are mythical. Smegma is a harmless collection
of sweat and shedding cells, produced by both sexes, which provide some
immune protection as well. Normal routine hygiene, for both genders,
addresses

this concern.

Advocating circumcision of either gender to rid the body of smegma is
ill-informed 19th century medicine, and part of the larger mythology
used to sustain genital mutilations.

A ring usually made of rubber or silicone that is worn at the base of
the penis to prolong erection by restricting blood flow out of the
penis, with a vibrating attachment designed to stimulate the clitoris
during partner sex. Babeland's most popular vibrating cock rings are the Orbit Ring Vibe, and the Sonic Ring.
Most women require direct clitoral stimulation to achieve orgasm-and the powerful, consistent stimulation of a vibrator delivers like nothing else can. The extra oomph on the clitoris that a vibrator provides is just what many women need to come-whether alone or with a partner. Vibrators have helped many pre-orgasmic women reach that longed-for first orgasm, and have brought reliable satisfaction to many others. Today more women than ever are introducing vibes into partner sex. Using a vibrator with her partner means a woman can enjoy all that powerful, sexy, turned-on energy she and her partner are generating, then add the extra push of vibrations-and come. What a relief! Men too have discovered the allure of a well-placed vibrator. He might enjoy the extra buzz during masturbation delivered by a vibrating penis sleeve or cock ring or a loving partner might spice up a hand job or blow job with a strategically placed mini vibe.

Vibrators come in a jaw-dropping variety of styles and types. The main differences among them are their power source, what they're made of, and the kinds of stimulation they provide. Because there are so many on the market (many of dubious quality), we make a point of testing every vibrator to make sure it lives up to our standards for quality and durability. We carry many of the most popular styles, including the Hitachi Magic Wand, the Wahl, the Rabbit Habit, the Pocket Rocket, and the Fukuoku.

The Wahl vibrator
is a quiet, powerful, electric vibrator, resembling a hand-held hair
dryer in shape. It's one of Babeland's most popular vibrators,
in part due to the fact that it's been around for years (really, your
grandma might've owned one). It vibrates faster than the well-known Hitachi Magic Wand; the small tip provides a more focused buzzing sensation. It is without a doubt our
quietest vibrator. It has two speeds, and usually comes with numerous attachments.
