Babeland Mom Bloggers

Anne Semans is the mother of Roxy (12) and Lily (6). She’s Babeland’s Marketing Director, as well as the author of several sex books, including Sexy Mamas: Keeping Your Sex Life Alive While Raising Kids. Says Anne, “Sex writing has been incredibly liberating and exciting to a girl raised in a Catholic family, where sex (and any mention of it) was as forbidden as that juicy red apple Eve plucked from the tree.”

Shannon Solie is the store manager of the Seattle store and mother of Jonas who is 6 going on 42. She is a strong advocate for sex positive parenting and is working her way through school to become a transgender family therapist.

Vanessa Riles is the “other mother” of Octavia, a precocious 9 year old, with an endless supply of energy.  Although not a biological mother, Vanessa faces the same daily trials and tribulations that other Sexy Mamas face.  Octavia, Crystal (Vanessa’s wife), and Vanessa have been living together as a family for 3 years.  They deal with the same woes shared by many two mom, recombinant, and lesbian families in addition to all of those things that are unique to them and their family.  Vanessa has been working at Babeland over four years and is currently the Customer Service Manager for Babeland.com.
