Abstinence

Voluntarily refraining from sexual activity.  Sexual activity is defined differently by different people and can mean anything from kissing to sexual intercourse.  Many people who consider themselves abstentious have some sexual activity, such as masturbation, kissing, certain kinds of touching, but not others.
