Get the sex life you want, care of Moregasm: Babeland's Guide to Mind-Blowing Sex (brought to you by Babeland's fearless founders and co-owners, Rachel Venning and Claire Cavanah). Claire and Rachel's first book, Sex Toys 101, took us on a tour of the many pleasures of sex toys; with Moregasm, they've brought us a warm, expert, and witty guide to a truly satisfying and exciting sex life. Especially helpful for those at the beginning of their sexual self-discovery, Moregasm combines gorgeous, glossy visuals with real-world advice and the frank, reliable information you've come to expect from Babeland. A must-read, and a great gift! 2009.

Basics but better - June 3, 2017

This book is awesome!!! It has really nice drawings and images that show you exactly what you need to know about anatomy that you were never really taught in school (the clit is the size of a zucchini people!). It also has a ton of great how to information regarding techniques and toys to try. I read it and loved it so much that I gave one to a friend. An amazing basics book for those new to sex or folks who want to learn a little more about toys too.

Fantastic Intro Material - February 9, 2017

I want to give this book to every young person in the country. It covers bodies, sexuality, toy basics, practical sex tips, safety, and more, all while busting myths and banishing the shame that society wants us to feel about such conversations. I wish we could all grow up with these ideas, but for the very many of us who didn't, this book views sex as a natural part of our lives that we should make every effort to enjoy thoroughly, and gives the reader tons of ideas on how to do so. The models featured are entertaining and very diverse which I really appreciate, and the book is very queer-friendly overall. Moregasm is appropriate for so many people, from those new to the concept of sex-positivity to folks who want to build a quality toy collection, to those looking for some BDSM basics. It would also be great for someone who doesn't live near a Babeland or another sex-positive sex shop, or who might feel too shy to enter. Nothing is covered in depth, so this is definitely introductory material. Toy or kink afficionados may not find much here, but Babeland has plenty of other books to choose from. In general, I recommend!

Variety Is The Spice of Sex - September 17, 2016

Confused? Overwhelmed? Didn't have access to (good) sex ed in school or maybe you were too embarrassed to ask questions? Whatever your reason for wanting to know more about the body in relation to pleasure, this book covers a wide range of questions. Helpful Q&As are sprinkled throughout the text. It doesn't go particularly in-depth on many topics, but it certainly throughly explains the basics most people are seeking information on. There is a good list of resources in the back of the books. As is true of all print text, the toys featured in the text are a little dated. Yes, it's true, if you're someone who is more experienced this might not be at the top of your must-read list. But it could be a good gift for that person in your life who maybe isn't as knowledgeable, wants to get more out of their sex life, but doesn't know where to start. All in all, it's a good book.

For 25$ this is a steal! The best sex toy is knowledge and this book provides that. A great introduction to sex and many of the main variations of it. This is a great book to give your teenager or your slightly confused friend. Many of the questions people are afraid to ask are answered here in great detail.

Moregasm is written by Babeland co-founders and covers a wide range of topics that are great introductory material for anyone looking for sex-positive information on anything ranging from brushing up on anatomy to the wonders of toys and positions. Written in conversational vernacular for all genders, sexualities, body types, and levels of experience. I would highly suggest this book to a friend or for a night of nice light reading. Awesome practical advice and knowledge in a fun and easy read.

Moregasm is so good. It's packed with useful information about all sorts of sex, from basic anatomy of pleasure to tips for asking a partner to act out your wildest fantasies. It is written in a really conversational tone that's engaging and easy to follow. Another thing I really love about Moregasm is the range of people and experiences shown. Both through the Q & A sections and the photos, it makes you feel like pretty much anything your body or sex drive does is within the realm of normal.

My Coffee Table Book - May 23, 2011

I'm a big fan of sex-help books, and I couldn't help but want this adorable looking book. This is definitely a book for beginners and makes a great gift, and looks fabulous on my coffee table. Everbody can't help but open a page and sneak a peak, no matter how prudish they seem! Lots of big, bold letters, bright colors, and pictures of normal, happy people. No skinny models pretending to orgasm on these pages! It covers lots of topics, which is awesome: Anatomy, what 'normal' body parts look like, help for picking out toys and lube, hygiene, lots of sex-positive, confidence-boosting tips, a really great FAQ in the back that covers everything from 'using vegetables' to 'sex during pregnancy', and more. My bf, who is a little gun shy when it comes to sex, feels comfortable opening this book and browsing the pages. It's too cute and fun to pass up, even if you are a sex expert!

Rachael Venning and Claire Cavanah possess great humor and show it through their second book together. They provide tons of information regarding many different sexual topics that have all crossed our mind at one point or another. Although most of the information may be stuff you already know. Not only that, but the book has in depth diagrams and pictures, as well as interpersonal commentary for their readers with Q&A's. I could totally picture this book being popular amongst the younger generation, since the book is bold and flashy in color and very hip. I just couldn't see my mom taking this to bed with her to read or while in the bathroom when she's dropping kids off at the pool. Possibly my step-father, but that's a given with all men. I did find that in one particular area, the answers were contradicting each other. Like, in the question where someone mentions that they don't like their scent, what can they do to make it better? Well to skip by the normal answer, they say it's okay to spray perfume or use a scented wipe before you do the dirty deed. Then, on the next page it gives some Do's and Don'ts and under the don'ts - it says not to use perfume on your vagina. Well duh, any smart person SHOULD know that, but they may find it misleading or contradictory. (Yes, I actually read most of the 272 page book) Other than that minor mishap, this book gives little details in all different areas, pertaining to all lifestyles and sexual fortes. What I mean by little, is that it doesn't really go into too much detail about one particular topic. Some of them only get like 3 or 4 sentences at most. The Moregasm: Babeland's Guide to Mind-Blowing Sex book may be great for the person who is afraid to let go of their sexual inhibitions or for someone who is inexperienced. But if you're already passed that, then look elsewhere - as this probably won't help you much.
