Fellatio Falls Flat
Dear Rachel and Claire,
Everybody says that giving men oral sex is easy compared with giving oral sex to women. But from my experience (I'm a 28 year old lesbian), it is not so! I have really tried, with a 21 year old guy, who has no particular physical problems. He just didn't come. I’m talking about more than 30 minutes of really hard work. Furthermore, he never comes when we're touching each other. Is it because I'm a lesbian, so there's no way I can be sexually satisfying for a man? (He says he does find me attractive, though). Or is he afraid of something, do you think? Is it normal for such a thing to happen at all?

Being a lesbian does not mean you can’t sexually satisfy a man. It means you’re attracted to women. Considering that sheep, cabbages, and tubes of cyberskin can satisfy a man, and that lots of straight men think lesbian sex is the hottest sex around, you being a dyke should be a plus, if anything.
What does your guy say is the reason? You should ask him.
There is no point in getting an aching jaw if he’s just wishing you would stop. It could be there’s something he wants that he’s too shy to ask for without a little prodding from you. Maybe he’s gay too. That happens a lot, surprisingly--the phenomenon of gay men and lesbians hooking up.
