Welcome to the inaugural question in our new Babeland blog series - Ask Babeland. In Ask Babeland, real Babeland Sex Educators provide real answers to real questions that they received from customers during their shifts. If one customer has this question, chances are others do too so we're bringing them to you!Question: "What's a good thin lube that won't dry out?"
Answer: You have two basic options here - water based or silicone based lubricants. If you want to go with water based (because it feels more natural or because you can use it with your silicone toys) then I would recommend
Entice by Babeland. It's nice and thin, lasts for a long time and doesn't have any glycerin in it which can make lubricants sticky as they dry out. Entice is still a water based lubricant, however, so it is going to dry out eventually. If you keep a little squirt bottle of water by your bed, you can spritz yourself and that will reconstitute the lubricant![caption id="" align="alignleft" width="100" caption="Pink Lube"]

Eros and
Pink, both of which are nice and thin. Because they're silicone lubricants, they won't evaporate so they'll last and last. They will feel a bit different than water based lubes (slick instead of wet) so keep that in mind when you're trying to decide. Also keep in mind that you can't use a silicone lubricant with a silicone toy. Before you try those lubes, I just want to remind you that thin lubes can be great for a lot of sexual activities but that if you're ever engaging in any kind of anal play, you'll want a nice thick lube like
Maximus for that so that you can provide some extra cushioning and keep the lube from going all over the place.
