It's that time of the year. Pride month - when we celebrate all things gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer. From rainbow flags to parades, Babeland always makes sure that we're in on the action. In fact, the day of the Pride parade is counted as an official company holiday. How great it that!This year, as always, Babeland will be at various Pride events, handing out free stuff and supporting our fellow lgbtq'ers. We're even hosting an event of our own... read on to find out:
New YorkBabeland has decided to skip the madness that is the main Pride parade and focus our attentions on the smaller events that happen all over the city.Friday, June 23rd:
Trans Day of Action. We'll be there supporting our trans community and speaking out.Saturday June 24th:
Mermaid Parade. If you've never been to this classic New York event at Coney Island, you have to go. It's like nothing you've ever seen and we'll be right there with them.
Dyke March: This is a march, not a parade and it feels really powerful to take to the streets. Even if you're not a queer woman, come out and watch and support those who are. This event is right after the Mermaid Parade so you can do a double header and go to both!Sunday, June 25th: Haven't had enough? Ready for a party? Hit up the Pride Parade and the come down to our
Soho Location for a
Singles Bash. Instead of all the old, tired parties that everyone goes to after Pride, check out this new one. What could be better than finishing up your Pride weekend surrounded by dildos? Plus, the first 50 people to arrive get a free vibrator. That's the best way to celebrate Pride.
Seattle:On Sunday June 25th, look for our
Seattle Babeland crew in the
Pride Parade! They'll be swashbuckling their way through the parade as the Pirates that have the booty you need. I'm so jealous that I can't be there with them with my eye patch on.Later that night, the place to be is the
Queers on Steers Gay Pride Party at Cowgirls Inc. Babeland is co-sponsoring and it promises to be night of roping and riding. Plus, since we love to give things away for free, the first 100 people to arrive receive a free Babeland Silver Bullet. That could be useful when you're trying to get the filly of your choice to come home with you.
San FranciscoSunday, June 25th: If you've ever wanted to see what all those hard-working people at this very website look like, then the place to be is
San Francisco pride! Our Babeland crew will be there as the Mod squad you won't believe. If you want to find them, look out for the giant sized
