Betty Dodson is creating a new internet television series. The beginnings of this work are currently up on You Tube as two videos. The first is Betty talking about her beginnings in consciousness raising groups. In the second, she talks about how she got started doing her amazing sex workshops. I've posted both of the videos below.I remember the first time I met Betty Dodson. She came to my college to speak for a sex positive day we were throwing. I was stuck by her energy and openness. She had a the crowd laughing and hanging on her every word. It was amazing to learn about life when she started out, when masturbation wasn't even mentioned and places like Babeland were years and years away. People like Betty are the reason that Babeland exists today. She has helped generations of women learn to explore their bodies and embrace pleasure in its many forms. Of all of the ambassadors of the sex positive movement, I think Betty Dodson is my favorite. Plus, whenever I try to think about what I want my short hair to look like when I'm a bit older, I think of her.If you've never seen Betty's work, check out her YouTube videos and subscribe to their channel. You can also get her book, Sex for One.Grassroots of FeminismSex By Design Workshops
