babelandIf you've never read Boinkology, you must. Here are Lux's thoughts about Babeland:
I discovered Babeland right around the time I discovered sex ? or sex toys, at least. I was new to New York, a freshman in college, and I wanted to learn what this whole ?vibrator? thing was about. On the recommendation of a friend, I made my way downtown to the Rivington store and bought my first vibe: a glittery, pink penis-shape thing that introduced me to the world of marital aids.Years later, I no longer have that vibe (and, as far as I know, neither does Babeland), but my affection for Babeland still remains. Over the years, the store has given me so much: an introduction to the world of sex-friendly (and lady-friendly) sex toy stores, an education about the dos and don?ts of sex toy play, and, of course, so many mindblowing orgasms. I can?t imagine a world without Babeland. As they celebrate their fifteenth anniversary, I?m happy to thank them for everything they?ve given me? and I?m eagerly looking forward another fifteen years (and more) of Babeland.
