
The Supreme Court announced today in a 5-4 ruling that it is upholding the so-called Partial Birth Abortion Ban. This ban is the first
total ban on an abortion method since Roe v Wade was decided in 1973. This is a devastating loss for the pro-choice community. The law is extremely vague about how early in a pregnancy this ban goes and although Justice Kennedy states in his decision that "safe medical options are available" outside this method, most physicians agree that inducing labor is a far less superior method than the procedures outlined in the Ban.To read more about the decision, check the
