As many of you head off for summer vacations, you may be wondering, "can I take my favorite vibrator with me?" We get this question all the time, whether it's tourists heading back home or hometown folks off to see the world. Here are some tips for traveling with your sex toys.1. Make sure your vibrator won't vibrate: the biggest problem for the TSA is if something in your suitcase accidentally starts vibrating. To make sure this doesn't happen, take any batteries out of a battery-operated vibrator. If you have a rechargeable vibrator that has a travel-lock mode (like the Gigi or the Form 2) then put it in that mode before you head out.2. Decide how you feel about having a conversation with TSA about your toy: If your vibrator is off, there's a pretty good chance that no TSA person is going to single out your bag because of it. If they do, however, all you need to do is say: "that's my vibrator". Any fantasies of the TSA employee holding up your toy and yelling about it to everyone in the security line are just that, fantasies. If that interaction still seems mortifying to you, then check your bag so you won't have to deal with it. Most non-vibrators shouldn't even be picked up by the scanners except for the stainless steel Njoy toys.3. Make sure you have the appropriate plug/adapter: If you have a rechargeable vibrator and you're going to Europe, don't forget that they have a different voltage and plug system there. You may need something to step down the voltage so you don't fry out your wonderful toy.4. Bring lube! There are a lot of lubes that come in handy less-than-three-ounce containers so you can travel with them easily. I recommend Babelube.
