strap-onI am so excited about a new documentary called My First Pony. It's all about strap-ons and it looks like it's going to be both fun an informative. I've only seen the trailer so far but what I've seen looks fantastic. And, to my surprise, they go to Babeland to look at strap-ons! Our Los Angeles store looks fantastic and the customers look very happy! Thank you, Violet Blue, for posting this on your blog so I could see it.I sold quite a few strap-ons this weekend. I always love talking about them because, although there are a lot of things to think about, it's also really exciting for someone to get their first harness. I remember how terrified I was the first time I bought one. It was way back, before I started working at Babeland. I came in to the Rivington St. store (the Mercer St store didn't exist yet) and was hovering around the harnesses and dildos. Claire Cavanah - one of the founders of Babeland - came up to me and asked if I needed any help. I talked over myself for a bit before I finally managed to say: "Iwannafuckmyboyfrienduptheass". Claire smiled and said "great!" and started talking the different dildos that work well for anal strap-on penetration. I still use her advice today with customers ("The Mistress is really flexible and long enough that you can put your hand on it if you need to guide it"). Then I picked out a harness (I think it was a Terra Firma), some Maximus lube, and I was on my way.I felt so silly and nervous when I walked in but by the time I was done, I felt really confident and I was ready to try out my new toys. And try them out I did.But anyway, back to My First Pony. I hope that someone who knows more about this film will tell me when it's coming out and how I can get my hands on it.
