Pamper Your Prostate in PROvember!

The month is November is now upon us. Soon you shall see mobs of mustaches running rampant, and you may find yourself asking 'why?'

2003 saw the dawn of the MOvember movement, a campaign in which men grew mustaches to promote awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate and testicular cancer and mental illness, and to show support for those who suffered from them.

An excellent goal indeed! However, through my experiences as a sex educator, I find that many men have next to no idea how to care for their own prostate and prevent prostatic cancer from developing in the first place. It's not so hard, and in fact, it's quite fun!

You see, prostate cancer occurs when the gland is left unattended and the unused tissue hardens. Regular orgasms can definitely help keep that gland in gear. BUT(T)…the best way to keep your prostate active is through frequent massage. Yes, my friends, that means exactly what you think it does:

Putting something in your ass.

Don't run away yet, though! Anal exploration may be foreign to many of you, but we promise you, it feels really good...and Babeland's got plenty of tools and know-how to get you all warmed up in order to properly pamper your prostate.

Naughty Boy

Every time a customer comes to me, searching for their first prostate toy, I immediate point them toward the Naughty Boy. It was my first butt toy, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The tip is narrow enough to be non-threatening to a novice sphincter, but gets thick enough to give the user something to aspire to. The medical grade silicone is luscious to touch, and the bullet vibrator is the perfect speed to relax those muscles (fans of vibration may also want to power up with the We-Vibe Tango!)

Aneros Helix Syn

For nearly two decades, Aneros has provided some of the finest prostate massagers on the market. Their meticulously crafted design has brought many glorious hands-free orgasms to customers across the globe. Generally made of a hard plastic, the shape of the toy allows users to place perfectly pinpointed pressure on their P-spot, while also stimulating the perineum, thus massaging the prostate from every possible angle. Aneros recently heard the public’s plea for silicone, and produced the Helix Syn, a chic variation on their classic Helix, with a plastic core but a velvety silicone coating.

Pure Wand

This may sound like a bold statement, but I think that the NJoy Pure Wand might be the most flawless sex toy ever invented. It’s made out of stainless steel, which provides the ultimate weight on the G- and P-spot. The shape is incredibly easy to manipulate, and the small and large ends allow variety for different levels of experience. And it’s boilable, so you can share it with a friend!

Ride DudeLube

As you have probably already noticed, your anus  doesn’t lubricate itself. Therefore, you’re going to need a nice lube to go with all of these toys. When it comes to your butt, thicker is generally better. Anal tissue is very delicate, so a lube with a consistency similar hair gel offers a nice cushion. Ride Dudelube is the perfect lubricant for the job. It’s odorless and tasteless, and it’s water-based, so it’s compatible with any and all materials!

Of course, these are just a handful of our favorite devices for prostate pleasure. To see the entire selection, check out our online catalog, or stop in to a Babeland store and ask a sex educator about your prostate!
