I've said before that one I absolutely love talking with customers who come into our store. There's another side to Babeland that also really makes me happy - doing workshops. I love teaching workshops because it's a much different format than the store. I have quite a bit of information I want to give to people and a specific time frame. Usually it's a challenge because there's so much that people want to know.Another great thing about workshops is that the variety of people leads to a lot of interesting questions. I always tell people that there aren't any stupid questions and it's true. I usually also say that "I've heard them all before" and in a sense, that's really true. Many people ask "information seeking" questions - they're confused or want more knowledge about something. Other people as "normalizing" questions ("is it ok that ____ happens when I ejaculate"?). Although some questions can seem shocking, they usually fall into one of these two categories.I was teaching a workshop the other night and had everyone write questions on pieces of paper. This is great for people who are too shy to ask in front of the group. I was reading through the questions and came upon this one: "are you pro or anti butt plug?". At first this question made me laugh because the phrasing made me feel like I was a politician ("are you pro or anti death penalty?" But then I realized this person just wanted information. Are butt plugs good to use?My answer was yes. I am pro butt plug. Although with a caveat. Everyone is different and our asses, if they liked to be played with, like different things. Some may love the feeling of fullness that a butt plug provides. Others may like the in and out movement that a dildo, fingers or a penis can provide. Others still like feeling the tension and release of beaded toys. That's what's fun about ass play - you get to find out for yourself. So that makes me pro butt plug, pro ass play, and pro exploring pleasure by yourself or with a partner.I wonder if I could get elected with that as my platform?
