As we start the countdown to another year, we look back at the last set of goals we set for ourselves: Where did we succeed? Where did we fall short?

 

Start this year with fresh resolutions that you’ll definitely want to keep.

 

1. Learn a new skill: With a whole year ahead of you, you’ve got plenty of time to get really good at something. Start small: Pick something you’d like to learn and devote 15 minutes a day to it.

 

2. Read more: When’s the last time you sat down with a cup of coffee/tea/beverage of choice and dove into a truly great book? Resolve to read more books this year. Ask friends for recommendations, or grab an old favorite off your shelf. And don’t forget about the library! Librarians have excellent book suggestions.

 

3. Stay hydrated: Drinking more water will make your body feel great, and can even help clear up your skin. Make a pledge to take care of your body by upping your water intake.

 

4. Try some new positions: Stuck in a dull bedtime routine? A book of sex positions for every day of the year will inspire you to get out of your old patterns (and into new ones).

 

5. Start a sex journal: Wouldn’t it be hot to look back and read about all your steamy adventures from the year? Find a journal (perhaps one with a lock) and make notes about each new activity and toy you try. Add as much detail as you like-- This is for you!

 

6. Spend more time doing what you love: What would you be doing right now if you had no time constraints or obligations? Is there a way for you to incorporate that into your life? Resolve to work around your schedule to do what you love.

 

Your life is your own; Follow your passions this year, and do more of what makes you happy and healthy. Make resolutions that matter to you, and you’ll have fun keeping them.
