colorguardPride was this past weekend - what did you do? Babeland was busy spreading the love from Parades, to workshops to parties. I have a bunch of things to share from Seattle where they must be sleeping well because they've been working really hard! From Audrey, our Seattle Education CoordinatorIn Seattle we did a color guard theme for the QueerFest Pride Parade on Capitol Hill. The SE?s stenciled these bright colorful flags with images of their favorite sex toys and other sexy images. Status, who besides being an amazing sex educator is also a choreographer, taught us all some dance moves and flag waving techniques to do along the route. To make sure we could remember them all, she named them after some popular toys. The Orchid G move involved hooking the flag upwards towards the imaginary G-spot in the sky, and moving it around in a ?come hither? motion. It was hilarious to hear her screaming out ?5,6,7,8, Orchid G! Hook it? now Sitmulate?Stimulate?Stimulate? to make sure we were all on the same step as we marched down the street. We also had moves for the Screaming Octopus, the Quivering Cock and the Eroscillator. We handed out buttons and magnets to the folks sitting along Broadway to watch the parade. colorguard
