NeaWould you like to get a break on your taxes with the money you spend on sex toys? I would. But I'm not a sex worker in Australia.Last week, the Australian Taxation Office listed "tools of the trade" as tax deductible for Australian sex workers. This includes lubricants, condoms, oils, dance classes, and other items that this article won't mention because the Associated Press won't talk about vibrators or dildos.Tax deductible items are those that need to be replaced because of use on the job. So, most sex workers aren't going to need to replace their silicone dildos because those will last forever. They may, however, need to replace their Silver Bullet or their hot little Nea vibe if it gets enough "wear and tear" on the job. That sure sounds good to me.It's nice to see that somewhere in the world, sex work is being treated as what it actually is - a job that deserves the same respect and tax breaks as any other job. Cheers, Australia.
